 about

                "Flight of Hope,"    $1800

Sheet metal, wire, oil on wood (31" x36")

My work arises out of the questioning

of the visual sorroundings; what is there, what is observed, what is overlooked because of the subjective dictates and perceptions fostered by the cultural and media manipulated,  beliefs.

It is fascinating how, if we are truly present, and really examine our sorroundings in order to see, we become conscious of the visible world and can scrutinize it in its fullnes.

It is then, that the viewer becomes present to his or her sorroundings, and can discover in nature, the beauty in its flowers, and all living things that are part of our environment, and the beauty that resides in it all.
